to Soldiers and Sailors of the U. S. Army and Navy
red hand writing says:
"This ship is the one, came back on "
Left July 11th 1919 at 3pm
for Grant Ill.
Note: the S.S.Louisville (ID-1644) from 1918 to 1919, was a steamship formerly know as the U.S.S. St. Louis . It was used in WW1 under the name S.S.Louisville as a troupe transport ship.
